Michael is a Partner of the firm and has over 30 years' experience in the areas of property and business law. Michael acts for property developers, investors, hotel and restaurant operators and for a diverse range of retail and manufacturing businesses.
He has also expertise in residential and commercial unit development projects and land subdivisions. Through Michael's involvement in property development, he has also assisted with Body Corporate formation and ongoing advice. Michael also acts for clients in relation to building and construction contract drafting and advice.
Michael has also acted for a number of state government departments and government authorities in relation to property acquisitions, disposals and leasing. He has been involved in a number of significant property projects for private enterprise and government.
During the last 15 years Michael has also practised in liquor and hospitality law, and in particular, transactions involving hotels, pubs and clubs.
He has many long term clients and works closely with other key advisers to achieve better client outcomes.
Michael is actively involved in a number of community and business organisations. He is also a Board Member of National Retail Association Limited.
