In 2012, we are proud to support Mummy's Wish as our charity of choice. 

Vision: Helping mums with cancer
Mission: To provide practical support and information to mums with cancer

Mummy's wish is a unique not-for-profit charity focusing on providing practical support to mothers diagnosed with cancer whilst either pregnant or already having young children (primary school aged or under) to care for. The charity was founded in 2007 by two Brisbane mums. Through their own experiences with cancer, they understood firsthand the challenges they faced with having a young child and also having cancer.

Mummy's Wish provides the following services: 

• A website full of information relating to managing cancer whilst you have young children
• Loan of a laptop with a webcam and wireless broadband access for use whilst mums are undergoing treatment in hospital. This allows them to keep up visual contact with their children
• Treats bag full of goodies to brighten their day. Some of these things make the journey with cancer a little easier
• Putting mums in contact with companies that agree to support them by offering free services, such as family portraits prior to treatment
• Assisting with referrals and information on other services and support available
• Assisting with organising and funding practical help, such as babysitting, house cleaning or parking whilst in hospital. 

Throughout 2012, our Partners and staff will participate in numerous fundraisers to support Mummy's Wish including:

• Charity events
• Sporting fundraisers
• Workgroup challenges.
